Awning Construction
Our awnings are constructed out of a variety of durable, long-lasting materials. They are made using .10” aluminum extrusion, which makes them strong, yet lightweight and easy to install. The welds are ground down to prevent sharp edges that might tear fabric or vinyl. Any black carbon residue created by the weld is covered with chrome aluminum aerosol.
The awning fabric is attached to the frame with a staple-in system. The fabric is stretched over the frame, then stapled into a specific groove that has been formed during frame construction. The groove and staples are concealed by a PCV trim that creates a tight fit and a clean look. The staple method allows the awnings to be more wind resistant and have longer lifespans.
