Eastamptom is a township of Burlington County in the great state of New Jersey. The area was originally inhabited by the tribes of the Delaware Indians, around 1683, and was called Alumhatta at the time. It was later incorporated as a township in 1880. Fun fact: The first bicycle railroad was invented and constructed in Eastamptom Township in 1881 by Professor Hotchkiss.
