Tabernacle is a township of Burlington County in the great state of New Jersey. Originally, Tabernacle Township was known as “Tabernacle in the Wilderness,” due to the establishment of a log church by missionary, John Brainerd in 1778. It was later incorporated as a township in 1901. Fun fact: Sean Robert Doolittle, an American professional baseball pitcher and MLB All-Star is 2014, was born and raised in Tabernacle Township.
