Trimming those large trees or cutting down a dead tree is not an easy job. There are many elements to consider including the height of the tree and the depth of the roots. This really isn’t a do-it-yourself type of job and requires a pro. When Haddon Tree Company asked Sunrise Signs to wrap five of the trucks in their fleet, we happily obliged!
The Client Needed Fleet Truck Wraps
The owner of Haddon Tree Company, Patrick Breslin has over 25 years of experience in tree trimming, cutting, and tree removal services. Experience is something you will want in this type of contractor because this is an intimidating job that calls for a professional.
Trees in South Jersey can grow very tall and if trimming is required there is the danger of falling from a ladder and harming yourself if you try to complete the job on your own. In addition, structures near your trees come into play. A heavy branch dropping onto a shed might harm the roof or if near the house, gutters and windows. This is why it’s best to call a contractor with a passion for this type of work.
Located in Haddon Heights NJ, Haddon Tree Company has a staff of tree climbers and the equipment to get the job done right the first time. And as they say on their website, “With competitive pricing and quality workmanship, our work speaks for itself”—and they offer free estimates.
Other services they offer include tree preservation, stump grinding, shrub removal, storm damage cleanup, brush and debris removal and split tree cabling. They are indeed your one-stop contractor for tree and shrubbery needs!
Shouldn’t a contractor that uses their fleet vehicles—some equipped with ladders and cabs—to trim large trees worry about their trucks and falling debris? Would fleet wraps be right for this business? You bet!
As stated, many tree trimmers feel vinyl wraps just aren’t sensible for contractors with trucks where branches, leaves and other debris may fall on their vehicles when working. However, Haddon Tree Company understood the power of vehicle wraps and how they advertise 365 days a year. They also understood that vehicle wraps are durable, washable and with proper care, can last up to five years.
Our challenge was to take these five fleet trucks and ensure the design was consistent even though the trucks were different makes and models. And, one can see from the image above, their fleet of trucks that were all white with some vinyl lettering is not as powerful or memorable as a full vehicle wrap.
The Sunrise Solution
We first ask all of our clients to meet with one of our in-house graphic designers to engage in a conversation about their business, any ideas they have for the vehicle wraps and to gain valuable information like their corporate colors, logos, etc.
Next, the graphic designer goes to work to create not just eye-grabbing and noticeable vehicle wrap designs but also designs that are consistent to help build a strong brand. A fleet of trucks with varying colors and graphics would confuse consumers. On the other hand, the smart fleet owner knows all of their work vehicles must appear similar in color and design to keep brand identity high.
The truck wrap proof above shows how we began the job using the largest of their trucks equipped with a ladder/cab. Once all the artwork was approved we printed and installed these fleet truck wraps.
With a goal of consistency to maintain their brand and our PMS color matching system, we were able to print vehicle wraps for all of the five trucks—each with the same color and graphics. Our designers also utilized the latest vehicle templates to ensure optimal placement of graphics for each truck.
Each of these fleet trucks received vinyl wraps full of green lawns and trees so viewers would immediately know what this contractor offers. Essentials were added to each vehicle like their telephone number, website address and list of services they offer: Trimming, Removal, Cabling and Stump Grinding.
It was also essential all received the company name in the same font with their tag line of “Your Local Tree Experts.” Other graphics applied included the types of payments they accept and that they are a member of the local Better Business Bureau. All of these fleet trucks received their “leaf” logo and company name in varying locations but always in the same font and style.
Now as this fleet travels to and from jobsites, each truck is noticed and remembered. While a consumer may not require tree trimming when they first see these truck wraps, they will remember them and are more likely to call this contractor over one void of graphics. Fleet vehicle graphics also ensure a professional fleet. Think of it this way—a business that takes pride in how their fleet appears is considered trustworthy over those who have an old run-down fleet with no identifiers or markings.
