The Client
Since 1983, Strategic Alarm Services has been servicing the areas of Atlantic City and the counties of Atlantic and Salem. As a low voltage electrical contractor, their services include alarm system installation and maintenance, closed circuit TV (CCTV) cameras installs and maintenance, monitoring services and uploading the right apps to your smartphone so you can access your security systems remotely.
Burglaries in almost every city and county are on the list of top crimes so adding extra security from Strategic Alarm Services offers peace of mind to their customers. Founded by Ron Bosket who is trained as an electrician, makes clients feel secure in knowing that Ron is able to guide teams through expert installations, troubleshoot or quickly spot issues before they appear.
For Atlantic City, Atlantic County and Salem County, homeowners rely on this security alarm business for all their security needs.
The Challenge
Strategic Alarm Services, came to Sunrise Signs with a white Chevy Express van (as seen in the image below) with plans on also adding van wraps to three to four more of their vehicle fleet. What is on a contractor’s vehicle—or better yet—what is not, may make all the difference in gaining a great first impression from clients.
An all-white van without any company identification will not be as welcome or trusted as a van wrapped with company imagery, graphics and lettering that immediately lets the homeowner know who is pulling in their driveway or parking outside their front door.
With their black and red corporate colors to work with, our challenge was to come up with van wraps that would not only build credibility and trust but also be a marketing tool on wheels.
The Solution
In the vehicle wrap design proofs below, you can see what our in-house designers came up with. Our concept was to implement a combination of logo design, a matching color scheme and high resolution stock images to make one amazing Chevy Express van wrap.
The Chevrolet Express model offers a large canvas allowing us to include all of these elements and more. Using images of the tools of the trade and a home in disaster along with rear window vinyl perforated film was just the ticket.
The Results
On this first of many vans to come for Strategic Alarm Services, on the sides we embedded images that include a home with burning flames, a smoke/CO detector and an emergency light. The black and red corporate colors are integrated nicely and the mid-section on the sides of the van reveals the company’s logo anagram “SAS” with the text “Security Alarm Services” underneath.
Also on the sides is text revealing what they do: Fire alarm testing, service and installation in black text which is complemented with a red stripe. On the red stripe their telephone number appears in contrasting black. Underneath their telephone number viewers see a short menu list of some of the services they offer using black letters over a white background. Their website address is also prominently placed in white letters on top of a black background making these Chevy Express van wraps eye-appealing with a strong message and brand.
For the rear of the van we took advantage of vinyl window perf drivers can easily see through with a repeating anagram logo that is also spelled out so viewers will remember what SAS stands for. The toll-free number is in black on the rear of these van wraps on top of contrasting white. Also on the rear, is a contrasting red film where we utilized black text to add a short menu list of their services. Finally, we repeated their website address in white over red for another eye-catching contrast on these Chevy Express van wraps.
