This mobile eatery feeds many at its location on 3854 Highway 9 South in Old Bridge, New Jersey. LaLa’s Puerto Rican Kitchen burst onto the New Jersey scene with a catering service while refurbishing their food truck. Now, along with their commercial kitchen located in Union City, NJ—where all the cooking is done—they are able to also offer Latin food favorites with their food truck. And, of course what brands a mobile eatery faster than any other advertising method? Vehicle wraps!
LaLa received this musical nickname because she was always singing in the kitchen. As a cook, baker and wife, LaLa loves chocolate (she keeps a secret stash), coffee and often cooks into the wee hours of the morning.
Catering kept LaLa busy during the redesign of her state-of-the-art food trailer. Their many Twitter and Facebook fans helped them choose the Old Bridge, NJ location and LaLa works with local farmers and farmer’s markets cooking with the freshest of ingredients. Her full-flavored traditional Puerto Rican food make this food trailer a success with the locals and tourists. The catering menu is downloadable from the Internet or you can reach their kitchen at 201-223-5252.
Part of LaLa’s renovation to her food trailer included attention to the exterior. And, Sunrise Signs was happy to help and worked with LaLa’s to design, print and install her food trailer wraps.
Advertising on Wheels
We knew these food truck wraps had to be colorful and match the energy and innovation behind LaLa’s cooking. Bright blue and red vinyl film was chosen as the main colors that blend nicely with an graphics of “LaLa” and her motto: “It’s Gotta Be Perfect!”
Also on the sides viewers can see a menu list of some of their food specialities along with their website address, email address, telephone number and text that promotes their catering services. On the top we inserted social media icons to help fans connect with LaLa's and a message informing viewers to “Get Ready”—for an awesome eating experience!
Distressed white lines go nicely on the sides and enhance the “LaLa” graphic, which also portrays food items and underneath, the words “Authentic Puerto Rican Food.” Also on the sides is text announcing “Food Just Like Abuela’s” and a badge revealing they enjoy “Cooking it up old school.”
The blue vinyl continues to the front of these food trailer wraps with a chicken graphic—chicken is a specialty, along with distressed white stripes. For the rear, we continued the blue vinyl and distressed white stripes, added the kitchen name for branding and a repeating “Authentic Puerto Rican Food.” Also on the rear is their logo “cooking it old school badge” their social media icons, telephone number and email address.
Now this food trailer is not only noticeably standing out, it also brands and advertises LaLa’s Kitchen 24/7—and vehicle wraps and graphics are one of the most affordable forms of advertising available today.
