About Get Around Knee
A while back Sunrise Signs was happy to be part of promoting Stryker’s Triathlon Custom Fit Knees by adding attention-grabbing vehicle graphics and wraps to some of the vans in their fleet. The promotion was to get the word out about knee pain and to show how Stryker’s new medical single-radius knees are tops in the industry. The benefits of these flexible knee replacements have helped many patients all over the world.
Since 1996, Stryker knee devices have been implanted in over one million recipients. Their new Get Around Knee is designed to be even more effective and now offers circular flexing for optimal joint movement. The new device is also much easier on the quadriceps muscles and in laboratory testing showed a lower wear rate meaning this revolutionary knee replacement will last longer.
Already known as a global leader in the development of orthopaedic products and services, when Stryker once again asked us to help them spread the word about their innovative knee implants, we were happy to help. With improvements to these implants also comes a faster recovery—something all people want who suffer from aging or arthritic knee pain.
Innovative Design
For these Chevy Express fleet van wraps, we knew the most important goal was to create van wraps that would be awesome to look at but also offer a message viewers would not forget. And, because 95 percent of people surveyed said they remembered the graphics they saw, we thought what better way than to keep the design short and sweet—but also very vibrant and eye-grabbing.
Four colors were planned for the design: Yellow, gray, black and white. For the sides of these Chevy Express van wraps, we used a diagonal design of yellow and gray separated by a bold black stripe. The “Stryker” name appears in white on the front sides of the vans and on the rear sides and viewers instantly learn they can easily “Learn more about the Get Around Knee.” Also on the sides, a website and toll-free telephone number are provided.
The rear of the Chevy Express van wraps also received the same information as the sides, perfect against the yellow vinyl and for the hood, we repeated “GetAroundKnee” with the “around” in bright yellow against the gray vinyl film.
