Food Truck Wrap Makeover: Philadelphia Cheesesteaks on Wheels
If there is one thing that my hometown of Philadelphia is famous for, other than the infamous Santa Claus snowball throwing incident, it's Philadelphia Cheesesteaks.
After all, who could resist thinly sliced chopped rib-eye meat on a hoagie roll with your choice of cheese???
Well, the customers of Mike's Steaks know an eye appealing, mouth watering cheesesteak when they see one. The problem for Mike's wasn't their cheesesteaks, it was their mobile food truck. The truck signage was old and unappealing. They knew that local food truck and street food operators were upping their game by improving their menus and their truck graphics.
Mike's needed a design that would show off their food and point out their Philadelphia roots and heritage. Initially they wanted just a partial truck wrap, but soon realized they could give their entire truck a fresh look by covering all four sides.
The end result was a food truck wrap design that visually communicated Mike's and their food as a Philadelphia tradition. Upon taste testing some of their cheesesteaks, we definitely agree!
